Genibo QD Robot Dog

So - if you found your way to my blog, you either own a robotic dog or would like one.  Sure there are a bunch of cute ones out there, ranging from $60 to $200 or so. But how about the SUPER complex robotic dogs out there.  Do you own one of those, or would you like to? I'm talking about the kinds of robotic dogs that actually RECOGNIZE your face {through a complicated computer/1.3MPcamera system} and develops a bond with its owner, as well as displays 100's of emotional responses. Now THATS a robotic dog!  One I have in mind is a robotic dog put out by Genibo. The specs are mighty impressive!  In addition to the camera, the Genibo has touch sensors on its back, flank and head, which allow it to respond to its owner's touch. The eyes are really impressive, as the Genibo has 3 color - 31 LED eyes which can display both emotions and alphanumeric characters.  It's been a HUGE hit in Korea, and just now starting to make its way into the US/UK.
